About
A physics lab you can open in a browser tab.
Order by disorder is where you run physics simulations, work problems, keep notes and read the night sky. It's organised the way universities teach physics: mechanics, electromagnetism, optics, relativity, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics and astronomy.
The name comes from order by disorder: in some frustrated magnets, thermal fluctuations pick one ordered state out of many equally good ones. Disorder producing order also describes learning physics pretty well.
Everything here comes from the literature. Every simulation cites the papers and textbooks it's built on, and nothing is sourced from AI-generated material.
Built by Theo Wecker, a physicist turned software engineer.
